This Library of Rural Good Practice is a selection of real-life examples and case studies drawn from the rural networks and partners of the Arthur Rank Centre. To a large extent the areas included are in response to research carried out in 2010; identifying the major areas where help was wanted by rural church practitioners – lay people, ministers and training providers. The online Library is just one of a number of new resources being made available by the Arthur Rank Centre as a result of this research.

The case-studies in the Library are sometimes resources, services or training that can be taken up directly by those who do not yet know them. Most, though, are examples of what others are doinLibrary_-_general_imageg to develop the mission and ministry of rural churches and those who belong to them. These are provided as examples to learn from, to be enthused by, and to encourage you to try something new that might be just right for your unique circumstances. Wherever possible, contact details have been provided so that you can follow up directly for more information, or to initiate a discussion.

Many areas of resources, training and rural church mission or ministry or ministry are covered here, but the Library is not exhaustive. We are always keen to acquire other examples that meet the general criteria we have for material in the Library.
