Based on comprehensive online surveying and detailed field research, "Resourcing and Training for the Rural Church" examines the key perceptions of rural churches, their leaders and members, and training and resource providers about being equipped for mission & ministry. Five elements are specifically considered, and a number of key conclusions are drawn that have major implications for the way that rural churches and rural church practitioners are enabled and equipped.
The five key elements examined are:
1. What resources and training materials do rural churches actually use?
2. What problems do the same rural churches experience with the way that these resources & training are provided?
3. What major gaps or needs do rural churches still experience in resources or training?
4. What do rural church practitioners find to be the major barriers preventing use or uptake of resources and training?
5. What methods do these same rural practitioners consider best for delivering resources & training in their rural situations?
