Arthur Rank Training

ARC works through its partner, Arthur Rank Training, to give seriously disadvantaged young people ‘not in education, employment or training’ a positive new direction, learning skills, making friends and preparing for working life.

ART is a Work-Based Learning Provider, for 14-19 year olds (210 at any one time) funded by Government via the Coventry and Warwickshire Learning and Skills Council. We provide work related vocational programmes in Motor Vehicle, Carpentry, Construction and Plumbing.  We also deliver work related, vocational programmes in partnership with local schools for Year 10 & 11 pupils. There is a strong emphasis on support and the provision of personal development opportunities and essential skills.

A significant proportion of ART students progress to employment and achieve a qualification.

Arthur Rank Training (ART) was set up in 1981 to give work-based learning opportunities to socially and/or educationally disadvantaged young people.
