Donations

Your gifts help the ARC continue its work providing worship materials, training and other resources for the church; bringing together faith groups to work together; and helping improve the lives of less fortunate people living and working in the countryside through its projects.

Hold on! Before you give, think about some of the ways to make your money work hardest. Tax-free giving is a good start: that is by using gift-aid, giving a legacy or giving as you earn. You can also help us by using Everyclick – and it won’t cost you a penny. Read on for more information.

Make a regular gift
Set up a regular donation by Standing Order. A gift of £5 a month can help us to plan our long-term programme of work to help people and churches in the countryside. Please make every £1 you give worth £1.28 by filling in a gift aid form (below).

Give online
You can donate online to our general ARC funds, or choose a specific project to fund. Please make every £1 you give worth £1.28 by using gift aid (our online form will help you).

Give in your Will
A legacy may be the best charitable gift we can ever give. Your legacy gift to the ARC really could make the countryside a better place to live and work for your grandchildren, and it is a tax-free way to give.

For general legacy advice and encouragement visit www.patrickwise.co.uk

In November, you can have a basic Will professionally drawn up or amended by a solicitor free of charge, visit www.willaid.org.uk

Use Everyclick
Using the everyclick.com search engine (instead of your usual one such as Google or Yahoo) will raise money for the ARC each time you search. All you need to do is go to www.everyclick.com/arc and start raising money for the ARC immediately by searching using everyclick. To make things easier for yourself in future why not make everyclick your home page, bookmark it or add everyclick to your search bar?

Give in Celebration
Make your special occasion extra special by requesting donations instead of gifts. Please make every £1 you give worth £1.28 by using gift aid. Ask us to set up a special donation page or postal address for you.

Give in Memory
Family and friends can remember a loved one by making a donation in their memory. Please make every £1 you give worth £1.28 by using gift aid. Ask us to set up a special donation page or postal address for you.

Give as a congregation
Would your church consider making a small donation from its planned annual giving, or perhaps donating the proceeds of a special collection during a service to the ARC?  If you would like one of our staff to speak at a service, your PCC meeting or deanery synod, please ask, we will be happy to arrange it.
